Terms of use

Unscripted is operated by [ADD LEGAL NAME OR 'the operator of Unscripted']. By signing in or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

You must be at least 13, or 16 in the UK and EU, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. One account per person. Do not sign in on behalf of someone else.

Sign-in is through Google, so your account is only as secure as your Google account. Keep it that way. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for anything you post into a league.

League invite codes are shared secrets. Anyone holding one can join that league. If a code gets out, the commissioner can reset it in league settings.

• Paste other people’s private information into recaps or messages.
• Use the recap tool for anything other than episode recaps, including trying to steer the scoring model with instructions rather than content.
• Try to break, overload, scrape or automate the app, or work around the rate limits.
• Post harassing, hateful, defamatory or illegal content, including about the real people the game scores.
• Access leagues, teams or accounts that are not yours.

Accounts doing any of this can be suspended or removed without notice.

You keep ownership of what you write: team names, trade messages, recap text you paste. You give us permission to store it, display it to the other people in your league, and process it as described in the privacy policy, which includes sending pasted recap text to Google Gemini for scoring. Only paste text you have the right to share.

Unscripted is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to Bravo, NBCUniversal, or any network, production company, show or cast member named in the app. Show titles and cast names are used to identify real programmes and people appearing on publicly broadcast television. All trademarks belong to their owners.

Scoring is derived from publicly published episode recaps. We do not host or reproduce episodes.

Events are extracted from recaps by an AI model. It will get things wrong: missed events, invented ones, the wrong cast member. Your commissioner can remove incorrect events from the scoring log. Standings are best-effort and are not an authoritative record of anything.

There is no entry fee, no wagering, no prize and no payout. Unscripted is not a gambling product and is not a real-money fantasy sports service. If your league decides to play for something among yourselves, that is entirely between you and has nothing to do with us.

The app is under active development. Features can change or disappear, scoring rules can be rebalanced, and there may be outages. While it is in testing we may reset or delete data, including leagues and scoring history. Do not treat it as a durable record.

We may change or discontinue the service at any time. If we plan to shut it down we will try to give you notice first.

You can stop whenever you like and delete your account from your profile. We can suspend or terminate access if you break these terms or if we stop running the service.

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. You use it at your own risk.

To the fullest extent the law allows, [ADD LEGAL NAME OR 'the operator of Unscripted'] is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost data, lost profits, or a league outcome you disagree with. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use Unscripted, which is nothing, or ten US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you posted or because you used the app in a way these terms prohibit, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of dealing with it.

These terms are governed by the laws of [ADD GOVERNING JURISDICTION], and any dispute will be handled by the courts there. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and for anything significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Unscripted after a change means you accept it.
